Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you book.

Do I need to be injured to come in?

No. Physical therapy is for pain and injuries. Strength training and specialty programs are for anyone who wants to move better and stay strong.

Do I need a referral?

No. In Tennessee you can see a physical therapist without a referral from your doctor.

Do you take insurance?

Send us a note through the Get Started form and we will walk you through how payment works before you book.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in and a pair of sneakers.

What happens at the first visit?

We look at how you move and go over your history and goals. Then we start treatment or training and build your plan.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on you, your goals, and what we find. We check your progress and update your plan as you go, so you always know where you stand.

Can I do physical therapy and strength training together?

Yes. Hands-on treatment calms things down and restores movement. Strength training keeps it that way.

Do I need experience to start strength training?

No. Every program starts at your level and is coached in person.

Is strength training right for me if I am older or have bone loss?

Often, yes. Your program is designed by a team that includes a doctor of physical therapy and built around your health history, so we know how to train around joints, bone density, and balance.

Where are you located?
